A Heart that wouldn't be Broken...
"BELLE'S STORY"

Belle, a year old English Mastiff, came to be in the care of the ALL PAWS RESCUE group when her owners brought her in to their Vet to be 'put down'...
She was on the edge of starvation... 50 to 60 lbs underweight... and she had been intentionally run over by a farm tractor...

She suffered a dislocated hip and a jaw broken in three places along with multiple cuts, scrapes and bruises.

The injury to her hip was so severe that she had to undergo femural ball removal surgery and it was feared she might loose her leg completely !

Belle was unable to eat solid food while her jaws were wired shut so her weight remained a great concern for several weeks...

The extensive loving care given to her by the loving volunteers of 'All Paws Rescue' helped her recover from the events that nearly took her life ! Few others would have bothered to give Belle another chance at life... with no concern for what it might cost... they did !

Through all of this, Belle never complained... not once. She was as gentle as a lamb through everything...
even though we know she was in a great deal of pain. Her desire to love and be loved overcame all !

Belle found with us, a new loving home
with lots of siblings to play with...

She has made a remarkable recovery
in just three short months !

















Belle's medical care alone was over $2,000 !

Belle is just ONE of the many success stories that can be told by ALL PAWS RESCUE !

They're work is motivated...
by a love that is as unconditional as the love given by those who come to be in their care...
and is fully funded by voluntary contributions and fund-raising events !

Belle would like to thank everyone who has so generously come to her aid... and to the aid of every other fellow creature in need !
